Travel
One interest that I am extremely passionate about is traveling. From a young age, my mom and dad made sure that my little sister and I knew that there were so many opportunities in the world. And this sparked my love for travel and extraordinary experiences. Some of my favorite spots that we have traveled to have been New York City, Anna Maria Island, Savanna Georgia, Charleston South Carolina, Monterey California, Marthas Vineyard Massachusets, etc. One thing that all of these places have in common is they have allowed me to experience new cultures. By exploring and experiencing new things I now know that I want to minor in international studies in college so that I can help others who have different experiences than me.
Music
Whenever I am stressed, worried, or nervous I always end up at my piano. I don't know why I always do this but whenever I sit down and start to play, I am able to express my emotions and thoughts clearly. When I was eight years old I switched from taking dance lessons to piano lessons, and I would make the same decision over and over again.
Music has had an enormous influence on my life, between lessons every week to Orchestra class every day at school, I have been able to express myself through music. I might not be the next Beethoven but I am able to express myself through music and am passionate about playing the violin and piano.

Friends
One of my favorite hobbies is hanging out with my friends. Some of my friends are the ones that I made in preschool. They have always been there for me, and when we're together I am able to be myself and have the best time.
Something that is kind of unique about me is that I have friends all across the state of Kentucky. After experiencing different opportunities such as Governors Scholarship Program, McConnell Youth Leaders Academy and KYA/KUNA, I have had the privilege of making friends across the state. And through these friendships I have found "my people" who I can be my goofy self with. I am so thankful for the experiences that I have taken, which have allowed me to make personal relationships with incredible people.
