About Me

One of my heroes once said, "Fight for the things you care about, but do it in a way where you lead others to join you." This quote came from the former associate justice of the supreme court of the United States, an advocate for gender equality, workers’ rights, the division of church and state, and one of the first women to break gender norms in this country’s judicial system, Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Her constant actions of integrity in the face of adversity have inspired and encouraged millions of people to join in serving others. I have always been on the lookout for numerous opportunities that allow me to jump out of my comfort zone whether that be being on a senior photography model rep team, meeting new friends at Governors Scholar Program, or hanging off a skyscraper in New York City. I have learned that by striving to encounter new experiences and cultures I will be able to fight for the underdog and be a voice for others who have not yet found their strength. Along with RBG as my influence, my family is incredible and I would not be who I am today without them. They have taught me how to see good in everyone and to be empathetic for all people. They have allowed me to see new cultures and they have shown me what tools are vital to have when reaching for success.
